Chaired by Tina Chambers Immediate Past Chair Tissue Viability Society Tissue Viability this national summit aims to bring together tissue viability nurses, wound care leads and senior nurses to discuss the important issue of eliminating avoidable pressure ulcers. The conference will provide national updates covering; implementing the national stop the pressure campaign and monitoring progress against the National NICE Quality Standard for Pressure Ulcers. NHS Improvement has announced Pressure Ulcers as a priority area for 2016/17 as the first part of their programme on patient safety initiatives, and Prof Mark Radford Director of Nursing at NHS Improvement will give a national update on this work.
