Successful Welsh Wound Network meeting

Written by Michael Clark March 19th 2015

March 10th 2015 saw the most recent Welsh Wound Network meeting take place at the Wrexham Medical Institute, Wrexham.  Fifty participants listened and discussed ten short presentations including an update on tissue viability activity in Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board.  In the afternoon there were three presentations covering wound epidemiology and the plans for a national wound audit in Wales, the Bluebell project comparing simple surgical dressings with no dressing use and a brief history of pressure ulcers from the ancient world to today.  Watch out here for details of the Summer 2015 meeting of the Welsh Wound Network.
