Opening of the Welsh Wound Innovation Centre
The Welsh Wound Innovation Centre was formally opened last week by Mark Drakeford, Health Minister, Welsh Government. Over 160 people attended this opening and were able to see around the new facilities that give Wales a leading edge worldwide in wound healing.
The 11th September saw 195 people attend the first Wounds In Wales: A National Perspective conference at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama, Cardiff. This prestigious building hosted a series of excellent presentations from leaders in wound care in Wales along with a Keynote address from Dr Andrew Goodall, Chief Executibe NHS Wales.
Friday 12th September was the first Open Day at the Welsh Wound Innovation Centre with many local industry representatives, NHS staff and local neighbours to the WWIC visit the centre for informal tours.
WWIC is now open for business!
