Postponement of September 30th Welsh Wound network meeting

Written by Michael Clark July 14th 2015

The next Welsh Wound Network meeting on September 30th at the Life Sciences Hub in Cardiff Bay has been postponed. Since we set up this meeting there has been an important development in wound healing in Wales. Agreement is close for a national wound audit to be undertaken from September 28th to October 2nd - this is great news as we will have access to strong data across all Health Boards for the first time. However the demands of the audit are such that NHS staff and many clinically qualified staff from industry are likely to be working on the wound audit and so unable to attend the WWN meeting. Therefore we will postpone September 30th and set a new date later in 2015 at the same venue in Cardiff - with the goal of sharing the wound audit data with WWN members.
