Improving clinical care for people with wounds

International Wound Care Conference

Written by Michael Clark April 28th 2014

Join us at our flagship conference of the year, the 'University of Salford Wound Care Conference', supported by The Foundation of Nursing Studies, NHS Networks, and the Leg Ulcer Forum. The purpose of this exciting two day event is to bring clinicians, nurses, researchers, academics and wound care companies together to explore the impact of wounds on patients and their significant others. Tickets are also available to attend individual days upon request.

To register and for further details, please contact Mark Almond on 0161 295 7301 / m.almond@salford.ac.uk

Members of the Welsh Wound Network will get a 25% discount on the cost of registration!

The programme includes keynote lectures as well as various think tanks to raise and discuss any questions you may have. There will also be a choice of workshops where real people will act as patients wearing simulated wounds on their bodies that replicate those seen in clinical practice. The overall theme throughout is to ensure our experts share and demonstrate best practice to aid your development in the assessment and management of complex wounds.
